    Position Summary


    The Jacobs School of Medicine (JSMBS) and Biomedical Sciences, University at Buffalo (UB), State University of New York, Department of Medicine, Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine is actively recruiting for Assistant/Associate Professor with care responsibilities at both our hospital and academic practice sites.

    Successful applicants will be expected to:



      • Contribute to the teaching mission of the department, to include instruction for medical students and residents as well as the ability to supervise fellows

      • Have outstanding communication skills

      • Have the ability to creatively solve problems and interest in developing innovative models of care



    Clinical/Translational research interest and experience will be a plus.

    Minimum Qualifications


    • MD,DO, or equivalent degree

    • BC/BE Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care

    • Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of NY

    • Ability to obtain a DEA with full prescriptive authority needed for specific practice



    Preferred Qualifications



    • Capable of ensuring a high level of cooperation and communication among their faculty and staff.
