Position Summary
The Department of Pathology and Anatomical Sciences at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences,
SUNY at Buffalo, is seeking an
Academic Scholar - Cytopathologist to join the team.
Candidates will be required to perform all the duties of an attending pathologist which include:
- General and subspecialty surgical pathology
- Cytopathology
- Select areas of laboratory medicine
- Autopsy pathology
Interest and/or experience in head and neck pathology is desirable.
Pathologists additionally attend and participate in:
- Tumor boards
- Clinical pathology activities
- Residency teaching
- Medical/dental undergraduate educational teaching

Minimum Qualifications
- MD, DO, or equivalent Board Certified or Board Eligible
Preferred Qualifications
- AP/CP Board Certified; Cytopathology Board Certified
