    Position Summary


    The Department of Neurology, University at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences is seeking to recruit Child Neurologists at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. Candidates should be board eligible or board certified in Child Neurology and will join the Child Neurology Division at Oishei Childrens Hospital, a new facility. Clinical and research focus in stroke and neurocritical care, movement disorders, inherited disorders, neuromuscular disorders or headache would be of interest.

    Responsibilities include:



      • Clinical responsibilities will be devoted to coverage of the inpatient stroke service housed at Oishei Childrens Hospital and outpatient clinic at our Williamsville and Conventus clinics.

      • Provide bedside and didactic teaching of neurology residents and fellows as well as medical students rotating on the child neurology service.

      • Pursue clinical research interests in the field of child neurology.

    Minimum Qualifications



    • M.D., D.O., or equivalent

    • BC/BE in Neurology




    Preferred Qualifications



    • Fellowship trained in Epilepsy
