    Position Summary


    The Department of Medicine,Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition, Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, University at Buffalo (UB), seeks qualified clinical educators for full-time positions based at ambulatory sites and major affiliated teaching hospitals. Qualified candidates will be appointed at the Clinical Assistant or Associate Professor level.

    Overall duties include:



      • Serving as attending physician for inpatient and ambulatory services

      • Consultation and follow-up of patients

      • Teaching students

      • Training residents, and

      • Supervision of fellows.




    Participation in clinical and/or translational research is encouraged.

    Minimum Qualifications


    • MD, DO, or equivalent degree

    • BE/BC in GI and Internal Medicine



    Preferred Qualifications



    • Eligible for medical licensure in the State of New York

    • Current and unrestricted DEA Certificate

    • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States a full-time basis
