The Department of Medicine at the University at Buffalo (UB), Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences (JSMBS ), Nephrology Division, is actively recruiting candidates to apply for a position as Transplant Nephrologist. Overall duties include serving as attending physician for inpatient and ambulatory services, consultation and follow-up of patients, teaching students, training residents and supervision of Nephrology and Transplant fellows.ECMC ). The program has undergone substantial expansion, with 140 transplants performed annually.JSBMS . Minimum Qualifications
MD, DO, or equivalent degree required Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine Board Certified/Board Eligible in Nephrology Fellowship trained in Transplant Nephrology approved by the American Society of Transplant Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of NY Ability to obtain a DEA with full prescriptive authority needed for specific practice Preferred Qualifications
