Position Summary

Division of Geriatrics & Palliative Medicine, Jacobs School of Medicine (JSMBS) and Biomedical Sciences, University at Buffalo (UB), seeks a Geriatric BE/BC physician for a full-time position based at our suburban practice. The qualified candidate will be appointed at the Clinical Assistant/ Associate Professor level.
 
The candidate will be responsible for the development and oversight of an ambulatory practice that provides comprehensive evaluation and care to a geriatric population.
  • The candidate will provide direct care as well as supervise other members of the care team.
  • This is a unique opportunity to build a state-of-the-art experience for the elderly in a community based multispecialty setting.
  • Given the academic mission of the Division the candidate will oversee the educational experience of fellows, residents and medical students assigned to the site.

Minimum Qualifications
  • MD/DO
  • BE/BC in Geriatric Medicine


Preferred Qualifications

  • BE/BC in Palliative Medicine
  • Eligible for medical licensure in the State of New York
  • Current and unrestricted DEA Certificate
  • Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
