The MSK Division of the Department of Radiology in the College of Medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) in Little Rock, AR is seeking a full-time a faculty member. Faculty candidates must hold an M.D. or equivalent degree, be either BE/BC by the ABR and have medical licensure or eligibility in Arkansas. The ideal candidate should have a service-oriented, practice-building approach to support this mission.
Currently, we have a group of 4 MSK radiologists who cater to well established General Orthopedics, Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Oncology services. Our MSK radiologists cover all aspects including X rays/CT/MRI, Fluoroscopy and Ultrasound.
We provide support for multiple peripheral Sports Medicine and Orthopedic clinics, as well as read remotely for our University of Arkansas Razorback sports teams.
We have a strong orthopedic department and recently opened the UAMS Orthopedic and Spine Hospital.
In addition to the MSK section, the Department of Radiology faculty offer expertise across key Divisions including Body, Breast, Interventional Neuroradiology, Interventional Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, Neuroradiology, Radiology Sciences and Pediatric Radiology.
We provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient care in conjunction with appropriate consultants and specialists for the diagnosis of a broad spectrum of diseases. Our mission is to provide high quality patient care while training the next generation of diagnostic radiologists.
Faculty candidates must hold an M.D. or equivalent degree, fellowship trained, and be either BE/BC by the ABR and have medical licensure or eligibility in Arkansas. Candidates who seek J1 Waivers are eligible to apply
