Position Summary
The
Department of Pathology and Anatomical Sciences is looking for a general pathologist to join the clinical practice of
UBMD Pathology. The ideal candidates should be comfortable in the diagnosis and management of a broad range of cases in surgical pathology.
Candidates will be required to perform all the duties of an attending pathologist which include:
- General and subspecialty sign out
- Autopsy pathology
- Frozen section performance
- Select areas of Laboratory Medicine Pathologists additionally attend and actively participate in:
- Multidisciplinary tumor boards
- Residency teaching and oversight
- Medical and Dental undergraduate teaching

Minimum Qualifications
- MD, DO or equivalent
- Fellowship training
- AP/CP Board eligibility or certification
Preferred Qualifications
- AP/CP Board certified
- Fellowship training or boards in Gynecologic, Head and Neck, GI, Genitourinary, and/or Pediatric pathology
