The Department of Pediatrics, University at Buffalo (UB) Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, and Roswell Park (RP) Oishei Children’s Hospital is seeking a physician-scientist with interest in CAR-T and other novel immunotherapy will provide the opportunity to develop innovative approaches in this area to drive the pediatric research program forward. The incumbent will provide clinical Pediatric Hematology-Oncology medical services within the RP Outpatient Pediatric Clinic and inpatient coverage at OCH on general pediatric hematology/oncology service, including pediatric BMT and cell therapy coverage. You will participate in medical student, resident and fellow teaching and mentoring. The position will largely be focused on pediatric basic and translational science. The successful applicant will be expected to develop and maintain an innovative, independent, collaborative, and extramurally-funded research program. Area of research interest is open, but we are particularly interested in applicants conducting research in pediatric hematology/oncology.
