Dr. Epstein is Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine (Endocrinology) and Medical Director of the Department of Medicine Faculty Practice. He completed medical school at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital and Memorial-Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Epstein holds endocrine certification in neck ultrasound, with expertise in thyroid ultrasound and fine needle aspiration biopsy of the thyroid gland. His clinical work is mostly thyroid cancer and he runs the Montefiore Medical Center Thyroid Cancer tumor board. He runs the Endocrine systems course for 2nd year medical students at the Einstein College of Medicine.
