Expertise: Dr. Alexander's research background includes publications in the subspecialties of retina and uveitis and orbital disease. Dr. Alexander currently pursues research on pediatric ocular inflammation including uveitis and periorbital dermatitis, congenital cataracts and glaucoma, aphakic glaucoma, ROP, and strabismus. She is currently active in collaborative research projects at the University of Maryland, the National Institutes of Health/National Eye Institute, and Children's National Medical Center in Washington, DC.
