Dr. Camhi is involved in divisional research at the VAPHS. She is the Site PI on a VA Cooperative Studies Program trial investigating the use of steroids in veterans with severe pneumonia is a co-investigator on several other studies within the Pulmonary Division at the VAPHS. On a regional level, Dr. Camhi is leading the initiative to bring Telemedicine Pulmonary services to remote VA facilities lacking Pulmonary physicians. Nationally, she is involved in a project to enhance Palliative Care in critical care units in Veterans Hospitals across the country.
