Expertise: My overall research program is focused on the regulation of innate immune signaling in the gastrointestinal tract in the context of acute and chronic inflammatory diseases. Some of the current projects in my lab include:

- the regulation of the innate immune system by antibiotics
- innate immune signaling in the pathogenesis of necrotizing enterocolitis
- modulation of mucosal immune function in the gastrointestinal tract by environmental factors
