Expertise: Research interest is in the incidence and character of musculoskeletal problems that arise in persons in the Hispanic community who have diabetes. This is an ongoing study in conjunction with the Department of Medicine to research both bony and soft tissue problems that are seen in the large diabetic population of South Texas.
