My interest in research began during my undergraduate degree in Biomaterials Science and Tissue Engineering at The University of Sheffield. I developed a fascination for how to repair tissue that could not repair itself. This interest led me on to a PhD in hydrogels for cell encapsulation and delivery to aid in the regeneration of cartilage. In 2016, I joined the Division of Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery as a Research Associate investigating a novel treatment for osteoarthritis.
