Expertise: Dr. Maseda is a broadly-trained immunologist and biologist. His focus in the last years has been immune regulation and acquired immune responses. He has extensive experience with rodent models of autoimmunity, including colitis, lupus (SLE), type-1 Diabetes and rheumatoid arthritis. He is currently focused on studying the role of inflammatory processes affecting lymphocytes in IBD (Inflammatory Bowel Diseases) and infectious colitis.
