Position Description Summary:
The George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates, an independent non-profit academic clinical practice group affiliated with The George Washington University, is seeking to fill a full-time faculty position in Glaucoma. The Department of Ophthalmology is part of a growing academic health center located in the heart of a world-class, vibrant metropolitan area and its cultural, family, and educational opportunities. Appointment rank (instructor/assistant/associate/full professor) will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include delivering excellent patient care, teaching residents and medical students, and conducting high-quality research.
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must be Board certified or board eligible in Ophthalmology, fellowship-trained in glaucoma, and eligible for licensure in the District of Columbia by the time of appointment.
