At the core is Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM), the nation’s largest medical college, with campuses in Erie and Greensburg, Pennsylvania, Bradenton and DeFuniak Springs, Florida, and Elmira, New York (opening in 2020). LECOM offers innovative and affordable education through student-centered pathways as it prepares the next generation of physicians, dentists, and pharmacists. The Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine marked a significant milestone in 2017 with the celebration of the college’s 25th anniversary. During the year-long celebration, LECOM commemorated the last 25 years with special events geared toward highlighting the numerous accomplishments made by the institution as well as the students, faculty, staff and alumni who have played a role in establishing LECOM as an indispensable facilitator of healthcare and wellbeing for everyone.
