Position Summary

University at Buffalo Pathologists, Inc. has an immediate opening for a board certified/eligible surgical pathologist (non-tenured) based at the Kaleida Health Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine and/or the Erie County Medical Center. In addition to training/experience in broad range of cases in Surgical Pathology, additional focus and expertise in one or more of the following subspecialty areas would be welcome: Cytopathology and the performance of Fine Needle Aspirations; Head and Neck Pathology; Neuropathology; Nephropathology; and Hematology and Blood banking.

This position includes a University appointment as an Academic Scholar at the State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo in the School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. SUNY at Buffalo offers a broad range of academic opportunities with special emphasis on bioinformatics and computational approaches to diagnostics.
