Research Excellence: MD and PhD or PhD with strong publication record in high-impact journals, high h-index (at least 40 on Scopus), and significant citation count. Demonstrated innovation and global impact in research. Grants and Funding: Proven ability to secure competitive research grants and lead collaborative projects. Graduate Students’ Teaching and Supervision: Experience in teaching and mentoring graduate students, with evidence of student success. Leadership: Leadership in research programs, international collaborations, and academic conferences. Recognition: Awards, invited talks, and editorial roles showing peer recognition in the field. Institutional and National Research Alignment: Alignment with the research goals of CMHS, UAEU, and national strategic priorities. Collaboration and Communication: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in teams.
Recruitment Focus on Innovative Trends in Healthcare and Biomedical Sciences, including (but not limited to): Stem Cells Generative AI in Healthcare Personalized/Precision Medicine and Health Biobanking (disease cohorts, others) and large-scale population studies Impact of Environment on Health and its interaction with other health-related factors (e.g., genetics) Promoting Healthy Aging and disease prevention Focus on major local, regional, and global health challenges and unmet needs including cancer, cardiometabolic diseases, mental health, genetic conditions Virtual and Augmented Reality in Healthcare Bioengineering / Biomedical Engineering
