The Division of Behavioral Medicine conducts laboratory, field, and clinical studies to examine factors that may lead to the development of obesity. The Senior Research Support Specialist will work in the Child Health and Behavior Lab under the direction of Dr. Stephanie Anzman-Frasca, assisting with laboratory- and community-based obesity-related research. This will include work on ongoing studies, including our new NIH-funded Restaurant Study which will involve some evening and weekend hours during periods of active data collection and will require reliable form of transportation.
The Senior Research Support Specialist will assist with subject recruitment and retention. Prepare Institutional Review Board protocols and other study materials (e.g., consents, questionnaires). Conduct studies (e.g., run parents/children through study procedures). Enter data in statistical analysis programs. Conduct literature searches. Attend regular research meetings. Assist in data cleaning and analysis and in preparation of manuscripts for publication. Work collaboratively with team members and collaborators including some oversight of others (e.g., students).
