The College of Medicine is seeking a talented individual to support and advance a culture of organizational well-being within the Department of Surgery. The Department Well-Being Director will report to the Chair of the Department of Surgery and the Director of Organizational Well-Being in the Office of Organizational Well-Being. This faculty appointment will focus on opportunities to support the professional development and leadership effectiveness of faculty and providers within the department.

Required Related Experience M.D., Master’s Degree or PhD in relevant field (e.g., organizational psychology, leadership development, organizational development. At least five years’ experience in coaching, organizational improvement, learning and development, or similar. Completion of coach training. Credential coach preferred. Prior experience in a healthcare environment. Experience in surgical field preferred. Demonstrated and established reputation for integrity, discretion, honesty, and good judgment
