Assistant Professor, Pediatric Cardiologist is required to participate in our Cardiac ICU Program. This faculty member will participate in all clinical activities of the Cardiac ICU Program including Attending and night call duties. She/He will also be responsible for resident and fellow training as well as clinical or basic research related to cardiac care and cardiovascular pathophysiology.
M.D. degree or equivalent completed pediatric residency training (Pediatric or combined Medicine/Pediatric Residency) and pediatric cardiology (Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship). Training in pediatric cardiology (Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship) is preferred but Critical Care Fellowship training is also acceptable if special training or experience in cardiac critical care has been gained. The successful candidate must be board eligible or certified in Pediatric Cardiology and have advanced training and clear expertise in Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care. Double boarding in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine is also desirable but not absolutely necessary.
