The Division of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Buffalo (UB), and the John R. Oishei Children’s Hospital (OCH) are seeking candidates for a full-time faculty position at the Clinical Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor ranks.
Candidates will be responsible for medical and postoperative surgical intensive care of infants and children, and supervise and teach fellows, residents, and students in Pediatric Intensive Care.

A medical degree and a valid license
A clinical background in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine
Board Certification in Pediatrics
Board Certification/Eligibility in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine
UB seeks candidates whose experience, teaching, research, or community service has prepared them to contribute to our commitment to diversity and excellence.
Preferred qualifications include strong academic background and interest in pursuing a career in clinical research and teaching, and clinical experience in pediatric cardiac critical care to support the ongoing development of a pediatric cardiac surgical unit.
It is recommended but not required that applicants be board certified/board eligible in both pediatric critical care and pediatric cardiology or have a fourth year of training in cardiac intensive care following a pediatric critical care fellowship (board certified/board eligible).
