The University of Maryland School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry is seeking a full-time academic psychiatrist as our Consultation-Liaison (C/L) Division Director. The CL Division consists of a team of 5 Faculty, and provides services to a 700+ bed academic general hospital and our Level One Shock Trauma Center. Additionally, we have a co-located HIV Mental Health and Substance abuse clinic and a medical Crisis Counseling Center. Specialized consultation services are provided to large organ transplant programs, including heart, lung, liver and kidney; to our NCI-designated cancer center; and to our Center for Diabetes and Endocrinology. The Division also has an ACGME-accredited Psychosomatic Fellowship, in addition to working with PGY-II Psychiatric residents and third-year medical students.

Candidates must be ABPN certified and have completed a Psychosomatic Fellowship. Academic rank and salary are commensurate with experience. Successful candidates will be members of the faculty of the School of Medicine.
