Our department offers flexibility for your personal interests in a life-long learning environment through an established diverse network that is regionally and locally developed in a model of community engagement.

TTUHSC Family Medicine is dedicated to identifying innovative methods for teaching tomorrow’s healthcare leaders while serving the needs of our community in the West Texas region and beyond. Our program has enjoyed tremendous success over the past few years and we are looking to grow in the coming year. The program now offers 16 residency positions per year, a rural residency training track which includes 4 rural training sites with the potential for expansion to 3 more sites, fellowships in emergency medicine, hospital medicine, geriatrics and hospice and palliative medicine.
