Postdoctoral Associate, Neurosurgery

The Department of Neurosurgery is recruiting for a postdoctoral associate. This position supported by a joint project between the departments of Biomedical Engineering and Neurosurgery at the University at Buffalo. The candidate will be located at Canon Stroke and Vascular Research Center (CSVRC) where (s)he will work under the supervision of Drs Ciprian Ionita and Jason Davies.
The candidate will:
* Lead the research to develop new machine learning methods to predict delayed cerebral ischemia in patient with subarachnoid hemorrhage.
* Mentor and collaborate with undergraduate/MS students and PhD candidates on research.
* Write quarterly scientific reports and manuscripts to be published in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
* Give annual scientific presentations to nationwide catalysis and emission control conferences.
