The Institute for Quantitative Health Science and Engineering and the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Michigan State University is seeking two Postdoctoral Research Associates in the Jinxing Li Lab (http://www.lab-li.com/). The Li Lab focuses on creating miniaturized sensors and robots for disease diagnostics and treatment. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop cutting-edge biomedical technologies, learn new skills, and be part of an enjoyable workplace in MSU’s brand-new IQ/Bioengineering Building. Our research is highly interdisciplinary. Candidates with any related engineering or science PhD training are encouraged to apply.

Specifically, the successful applicant will be expected to:
Build engineering solutions to solve the problems in biology and medicine
Collaborate with researchers across different disciplines and institutions
Mentor undergraduate and graduate students in the lab
Present findings and data in lab meetings, publications, and presentations
Purchase, setting up, and maintaining equipment necessary to conduct research.

Equipped with multiple state-of-the-art core bioengineering facilities, the Institute for Quantitative Health Science and Engineering is dedicated to basic and applied research at the intersection of engineering, human medicine, and natural science. We have over 40 talented faculty who collaborate across disciplines to push the envelope of biomedical research, solving some of the most pressing problems in medicine with smart engineering solutions.
