Job Summary
Postdoctoral Research Fellow/Scientist position in Cardiovascular Sciences to contribute to groundbreaking research aimed at studying the sex differences in cardiovascular diseases with main focus on the role of sex chromosomes in aortic aneurysms, atherosclerosis, and heart failure using mouse models that modulate the sex chromosome complements coupled with castration surgeries. Under the mentorship of Dr. Alsiraj, you will design and execute experiments, analyze data, and contribute to the dissemination of research findings through publications and presentations. Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Strong background in cardiovascular research with expertise in relevant experimental techniques and methodologies. Track record of research productivity demonstrated by peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations in cardiovascular sciences. Proficiency in experimental design, data analysis, and interpretation. Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to convey complex scientific concepts effectively. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and ability to work independently and collaboratively.

PhD and experience with molecular biology techniques such as PCR/RTPCR, gel electrophoresis, DNA/RNA extraction; sterile lab practices; immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence; ELISA
