The Department of Environmental and Radiological Health Sciences at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in epidemiology at the Assistant Professor level. This position is located within a unique multi-disciplinary environment with a history of excellence in epidemiologic research and teaching programs. Applicants must have a doctoral degree in Epidemiology or a closely-related field. Previous teaching experience is preferred. Successful candidates will have a history of and/or potential to develop an externally funded research program. Candidates whose research focus includes environmental epidemiology (especially focused in water), occupational epidemiology, molecular / genetic epidemiology, reproductive epidemiology, infectious disease epidemiology, community-based epidemiology, and applicants with strong methods/quantitative skills are particularly encouraged to apply; other areas will also be considered. The faculty member will be expected to contribute to teaching in the undergraduate and/or graduate programs, mentor students, and develop a vibrant, externally funded research program.
