Assistant Professor, Pharmacology and Physiology

The Department of Pharmacology and Physiology is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time position at the level of Assistant Professor on the Medical Educator Track (non-tenure). Appointments on the Medical Educator track are for faculty who are primarily responsible for teaching and contributing to the development and delivery of the Medical Center's medical and graduate education programs. This position would start July 1, 2020, and applicants should hold a Ph.D., M.D. or D.O degree. This is an academic teaching and administrative position working with outstanding graduate programs. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to teach physiology in a medical center environment.
While participating in educational programs is the primary responsibility of an individual holding a Medical Educator track appointment, a Medical Educator track faculty member may occasionally participate in research and service.
