The Division of Emergency Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Buffalo (UB), and the John R. Oishei Children’s Hospital (OCH) is seeking a Clinical Assistant or Associate to fill a position that provides direction and leadership to implement emergency care standards, practice and competencies of the OCH. As a Clinical Assistant or Associate Professor you will be responsible for:
- Assisting the Chief to meet or exceed expected outcome measures including patient satisfaction, length of stay, and clinical standards.
- Maintaining effective and responsive relationships with patients, managing professional and clerical staff.
- Working alongside and supervise students, residents, fellows and APPs in all areas of the Emergency department.
The preferred candidate will have experience in:
- Directing a pediatric transport team and providing community outreach
- Pediatric US director experience, including various devices and Qpath
- Structuring resident educational sessions
