Drug addiction research group is seeking a Postdoctoral Associate with a focus on research aims to understand how drugs of abuse and stress mediated behavioral, molecular and cellular plasticity affect the brain. A multifaceted approach from molecules to behavior are used. Techniques used in the lab include animal behavior, confocal microscopy, gene therapy, and molecular techniques to help elucidate how drugs of abuse hijack the brain’s reward pathway. Applicants should have a deep enthusiasm for investigating the cellular & behavioral mechanisms of psychiatric disorders.
