The Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Minnesota is seeking a full time ABA board certified/board eligible Anesthesiologist.
As the multi-specialty group practice for the faculty of the University of Minnesota Medical School, University of Minnesota Physicians (UMP) has more than 950 physicians and 1,600 health professionals, providing clinical care in over 100 specialty and sub-specialty areas.
The Department of Anesthesiology is driven to eliminate pain, improve patient outcomes and train the next generation of anesthesiologists. Our department cultivates a culture of inquiry, where best medical practices are determined through clinical and scientific methods as well as translational investigation.
- Graduate of an accredited ACGME Anesthesiology residency and/or fellowship training program.
- Candidates must have demonstrated ability in teaching and in scholarly productivity in one or more specialty areas in anesthesiology. Academic time will be used to pursue scholarly work in the candidate’s area of teaching or research depending upon hiring track.
- Licensed or ability to obtain Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Licensure.
