The University of Kentucky College of Medicine is accepting applications from outstanding medical physicists to lead the clinical and academic medical physics division within the Department of Radiation Medicine/Radiation Oncology. The successful candidate demonstrates strong clinical, academic, and leadership / administrative skills in order to effectively oversee the department’s highly-regarded, division of medical physics.
The selected candidate will be capable of directing a high-achieving team of diverse stakeholders, managing multiple projects, collaborating with other UK departments and divisions as well as the UK Healthcare clinical enterprise, supporting and possibly developing community and international partnerships, advocating for support, and sustaining the division’s long history of excellence in medical physics, clinically and academically. This candidate will report to the chair of the department of radiation medicine.
