Overview
The Tufts Department of Neuroscience provides research and didactic infrastructure for the medical school, graduate programs and Tufts University. Within the department, there exists the Tufts Center for Neuroscience Research (CNR), providing core facilities and instrumentation for physiological, behavioral, genetic and cell biological research. The CNR maintains three research cores that provide equipment and expertise for investigators at Tufts University and Tufts Medical Center. The three cores are: Imaging and Cell Analysis, Circuits and Behavior, and Genomics.

What You'll Do
Supervise CNR Circuits and Behavioral Core; maintain multiple piece of equipment for behavioral testing and EEG recording; help users with experimental design and implementation issues; supervise online instrument calendar sign-up system; participate in training new facility users; help with demos of new equipment; attend meetings to stay abreast of current neuroscience behavioral techniques.
What We're Looking For
Basic Requirements:
- Knowledge and skills as typically acquired by a PhD in Neuroscience, 6+ years of research experience, and at least 1 year post-doctoral training in behavioral neuroscience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with EEG recording and simultaneous EEG/behavioral analysis.
Special Work Schedule Requirements:
May work with and be exposed to hazardous chemicals and materials, human/animal tissue and fluids, radiation.
