Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure research track. Research or scholarship responsibilities may include performing statistical and computational research, training graduate students or postdoctoral fellows, writing manuscripts, giving scholarly presentation.
We are interested in candidates who creatively develop and apply statistical and computational approaches to drive biological discoveries and medical innovations, using large-scale data (e.g. genetic, multi-omic, EHR) and harnessing cutting-edge technologies (e.g. single-cell, spatial, imaging, artificial intelligence). Candidates working on biobank-scale informatics by integrating omic and clinical data across large-scale population cohorts are particularly welcome to apply.
