The Center on Trauma and Children is seeking an Assistant Professor to maintain and expand the current activity of clinical services available. This position will provide services exclusively to the University of Kentucky’s Center on Trauma and Children and will be housed within the Department of Psychiatry. The successful candidate must have demonstrated competency in trauma-informed evidence-based practices, program management skills, curriculum development, strategic planning, information monitoring and a basic knowledge of research methods and data analysis.
The University of Kentucky Center on Trauma and Children (CTAC), located in the College of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry is dedicated to the enhancement of the health and well-being of children and their families through research, practice, policy and the dissemination and implementation of evidence-based approaches to address child abuse and trauma. CTAC recognizes the impact of indirect trauma on the child-serving workforce and seeks to address this pervasive occupational hazard.
