Tufts University School of Dental Medicine invites applications for a part-time faculty position at the Instructor/Assistant Professor level in the Department of Diagnostic Sciences, Division of Craniofacial Pain. Responsibilities include collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to evaluate, screen and manage high-risk orofacial pain patients. Document the comprehensive treatment plan and progress notes in the health record and comply with TUSDM’s policies. Develop and conduct weekly mindfulness groups, follow-up with patients and referring providers. Assist with teaching of postgraduate orofacial pain and sleep residents, participate in weekly rounds and case presentations. Provide cross coverage for emergency Mass health patients.
The successful candidate is also expected to pursue scholarly activities, research, and demonstrating superior ability in working with people of diverse backgrounds.
Candidates for this position must hold a MA in Professional Psychology and a Doctorate in Clinical Health Psychology, along with an extensive clinical and teaching experience.
