The Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine at the University of Kentucky / Markey Cancer Center is seeking a Board-Certified / Board-Eligible faculty member to assume the role of Program director for the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) Pulmonary/Critical Care Medicine and Critical Care Medicine fellowship programs. The position will have protected time to accomplish program director duties for both programs with the remainder of the time spent as an attending in the medical ICUs and pulmonary clinics at UK HealthCare.
Successful candidates must have at least 3 years of fellowship leadership experience at the associate program director level at an ACGME accredited pulmonary/critical care fellowship program. Candidates will have opportunities to participate in teaching and in patient-oriented research in the areas of sleep medicine, ICU outcomes, cystic fibrosis, lung cancer, interstitial lung disease, COPD, and lung transplantation. Salaries and academic rank are commensurate with experience.
