Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences invites applications for an open rank Faculty Position, with expertise in Medical Genetics and/or Molecular Biology.
The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to excellence in Medical and Biosciences Education and establish an independent or collaborative research program, capable of attracting external funding.
Applicants should have doctoral degrees from accredited universities/colleges and at least 3 years of postdoctoral training or equivalent.
Preference will be given to individuals with Medical School experience.
Salary and rank will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
KCUMB is a fully accredited, private university, with an emerging emphasis on research. Founded in 1916, its College of Osteopathic Medicine is the oldest Medical School in Kansas City, Missouri and the largest in the state.
The College of Biosciences is home to expanding Graduate Programs which include Biomedical Sciences and Bioethics.
