This fully funded studentship is available to start in October 2010, under the supervision of Dr. Debi Bhattacharya, in the internationally recognized School of Pharmacy, UEA Norwich.

FUNDING IS AVAILABLE FOR UK APPLICANTS ONLY. FUNDING AWARDED FOR THIS PROJECT WILL COVER TUITION FEES AND STIPEND FOR UK STUDENTS. Conditions of Funding: UK Registered Pharmacist.
Hellesdon hospital is one of the first UK mental health trusts to embark on an electronic prescribing system. Currently, there are no UK reported evaluations of the effect and cost effectiveness of electronic prescribing Evaluation of the impact of this system on prescriber and pharmacy time, medication errors and patient care including involvement in decision making will form a significant part of this Ph.D.
The successful applicant will therefore be expected to work between Hellesdon hospital and UEA.
From undertaking this Ph.D., you will develop clinical knowledge within the field of mental health, health economics and statistical skills.
