SPECIALIST IN PEDIATRIC CRITICAL CARE
The Department of Pediatrics, University of California, Davis is seeking to recruit a full-time academic pediatric intensivist to join our Division of 7 full-time pediatric intensive care faculty. The UC Davis Children’s Hospital has a 16-bed multidisciplinary state-of-the-art PICU, and is the only Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center in Northern California.
This position is open at the Assistant/Associate or Full Professor rank (commensurate with credentials) in either the Clinical X or Health Science Clinical Series. Responsibilities will include patient care (including post-operative cardiac surgery management), medical student and resident education. Depending upon series, the ideal applicant should have a healthy interest in clinical research and the pursuit of academic endeavors. Also the candidate should have established excellence in teaching and clinical care. Minimum qualifications include a M.D. degree, board certification/eligibility in Pediatrics, board certification/eligibility in Pediatric Critical Care, and eligibility for a California medical license.
