  • Pediatric Allergist/Immunologist

    The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, seeks a board certified or board eligible pediatric allergist/immunologist for a faculty position. Rank and salary will be commensurate with training and experience. The position offers excellent opportunities for patient care, teaching, clinical and basic research, and program development.

    Primary responsibilities include clinical care in outpatient and inpatient settings; participation in research; and participation in medical student, resident, and fellow education. The successful candidate will be someone with leadership skills who is energetic and enthusiastic about program development.

    The University of Texas Medical Branch is the oldest medical school in Texas with over 1000 faculty members and schools of medicine, nursing, health professions, and the graduate school of biomedical sciences.
    Galveston is a city of 50,000 located on an island 50 miles south of Houston. The area offers great diversity from beach front living to Victorian homes to contemporary neighborhoods, and it is possible to live anywhere on the island and be within a few minutes of the hospital. There are multiple recreation opportunities and virtually no traffic.
