Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Pediatric Anesthesiology Fellowship Program Director. In this role at the University at Buffalo your responsibilities include overseeing the anesthesiology fellowship training program in pediatrics, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards, and providing mentorship and guidance to fellows. This includes developing the curriculum, supervising clinical training, evaluating fellows progress, and fostering academic and professional development.
The director works closely with faculty, hospital partners, and residency programs, and ensures the fellows gain diverse and comprehensive clinical experience. Additionally, the director contributes to research, teaching, and service initiatives while preparing fellows for board certification and leadership roles in pediatric anesthesia.

Minimum Qualifications
- Certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology or judged by the Residency Review Committee to possess appropriate educational qualifications.
- Licensed to practice medicine in the state where the institution that sponsors the program is located and have an appointment in good standing to the medical staff of an institution participating in the program.
- Possess faculty experience, leadership, organization and administrative qualifications, and the ability to function effectively within an institutional governance.
- Significant academic achievements in anesthesiology, such as publications, the development of educational programs, or the conduct of research.
