Position Summary
The
Department of Surgery within the
Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, State University of New York at Buffalo (UB), is seeking a highly qualified Trauma Critical Care Surgeon. This full-time position will be based at our major affiliated teaching hospitals, with an appointment at the
Clinical Assistant or Associate Professor level.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in advancing trauma and critical care services and will demonstrate a commitment to excellence in patient-centered care. Overall duties include:
- Serving as attending physician for inpatient trauma and critical care services
- Providing consultation, treatment, and follow-up for trauma and critically ill patients
- Teaching and mentoring residents, fellows, and medical students
- Engaging in clinical and basic science research, as well as participating in clinical trials that promote advancements in trauma and critical care

Minimum Qualifications
MD or equivalent degree and be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Trauma/Critical Care Surgery. Fellowship training in Trauma/Critical Care
Salary Range
$57,899
