Pathologist Educator (Clinical Professor – Medical Series)
CUNY School of Medicine at the City College of New York

The Department of Molecular, Cellular & Biomedical Sciences is seeking a pathologist to fill a full-time teaching position at the CUNY School of Medicine. We are interested in experienced practitioners and teachers of pathology to medical students. This is a full time, non-tenure track position in the title of Clinical Professor (Medical Series).

General responsibilities include:
- Coordinate and teach pathology to medical students in an integrated medical curriculum.
- Perform administrative, supervisory, and School of Medicine committee functions as assigned by the Chair.
- Participate in School of Medicine activities as required.

MD or MD/PhD degree with residency training and Board certification in Anatomic Pathology (AP) or Anatomic and Clinical Pathology (AP/CP) is required. Preference will be given to applicants with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in teaching pathology to medical students. The successful applicant must demonstrate leadership skills, a strong commitment to teaching, willingness to teach a broad array of Pathology topics, and ability to make significant contributions to innovation in pathology instruction. The selected candidate will be expected to cooperate and collaborate with colleagues engaged in teaching in our integrated curriculum.
