The University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics in Las Vegas, Nevada, is seeking two Pediatric Neurologists at the Assistant/Associate/Full Professor in Residence level to join a pediatric Neurology section. We are seeking one with Fellowship training in Epilepsy and one general pediatric neurology. These physicians will provide inpatient, consultative neurological care at the University Medical Center and Children's Hospital of Nevada. Outpatient care will be at the UNLV Lied Pediatrics Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. The successful candidate will be an active participant in medical student and resident education and have an interest in scholarly activities. Proven abilities in the areas of clinical research, health outcomes or education outcomes research is desirable.
MD/DO, or equivalent; BC or BE in Pediatric Neurology prior to start date is required. Candidates must be eligible for an unrestricted Nevada medical license, malpractice insurance, and must able to be successfully licensed and credentialed by affiliated teaching hospitals. As a finalist, you may be subject to a background check.
Salary competitive with those at similarly situated institutions. Position is contingent upon funding.
