The University of Central Florida (UCF), College of Medicine is seeking applicants for a non-tenure track (regular or clinical) faculty position at the assistant, associate, or full professor level in the Department of Clinical Sciences. The successful applicant will be an outstanding clinician educator in the specialty of Pathology who will join a multi-disciplinary team of faculty and contribute to the delivery of an integrated medical education curriculum.
Responsibilities for this position include teaching pathology-related curriculum in the undergraduate medical education (M.D.) program, with content areas that may include cardiopulmonary, reproductive/endocrine, GI/renal, musculoskeletal, neurobiology, hematology/oncology, anatomy, and cadaver autopsy pathology. The position may also include an opportunity for clinical practice as plans for laboratory medicine in a new teaching hospital and cancer center continue to be developed. Research effort may be considered along with expectations of obtaining external funding support. Applicants should be exceptional leaders who wish to enhance the college's education and research missions through an exciting period of growth and expansion. The selected candidate will actively collaborate with Medical Education faculty in an integrated curriculum that emphasizes innovative teaching modalities.

Position Minimum Qualifications
An M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. from an accredited school and be board certified by the American Board of Pathology, or have completed training in the previous 2-5 years. Candidates must demonstrate a record of sustained teaching excellence in an M.D. program. Candidates must also be eligible for licensure or licensed to practice in the State of Florida, and will have recent clinical experience.
Additional experience as a course or clerkship director or experience as a residency or fellowship program director, is preferred.
