This position coordinates the daily operations of the division of Academic Affairs and Education in the School of Medicine in order to meet all programming goals and the mission of the School to deliver medical education and degrees. In addition, this role specializes is supporting curriculum operations and delivery.

Coordination includes: Providing executive-style support to the Vice Dean and interacting with all administrators, faculty, staff, groups, and committees; Providing coordination support to the Director of Curriculum to execute curriculum preparation and delivery; Managing day-to-day business operations for the division; Executing special projects, research and reports; Assisting/coordinating meetings and events; Supporting initiatives and degree/program development.

In regard to curriculum coordination, candidates must understand complex scheduling, curriculum flow, the management of sensitive student records, and be able to support data collection/research as it relates to program assessment and evaluation. In addition, candidates with student information system, electronic catalog, accreditation, and learning management system insight are preferred.

The ideal candidate must have the following capabilities:
· Strong written and verbal skills
· Organizational skills
· A thorough understanding of higher education organizational structure and its policies and procedures.
· Effectively manage multiple priorities and demands, projects, programming requirements, meetings, events, and business practices.
· Impeccable attention to detail, and an ability to see the big picture (a thorough understanding of the mission and goals over the short-term and long-term life of the School.)
· Strong computer skills are essential for this position (PC required; Apple encouraged).

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university and 5 years related professional experience; experience in higher education is required. Master’s degree preferred and all finalists may be subject to background check.

Salary competitive with those at similarly situated institutions. Position is contingent upon funding.
